Your best days deserve better

We got tired of replacing swimsuits every season.
So we started making them here, by hand, to last longer than the trip.

Swimwear is the only thing you throw away and still remember.

A swimsuit lasts a season. The elastic gives, the colour goes, the lining thins, and it fails fastest in exactly the conditions people buy it for. Salt, chlorine, equatorial sun.

Now look at what you were doing while you wore it. The swim at six before anyone was up. The lunch that ran until four. The trip you booked because something in your life had just changed.

Those are the days people keep photographs of for twenty years. And the object attached to them was engineered to survive four months.

So we didn’t set out to make better swimwear. We set out to put something into that outfit built the way jewelry is built, made to still be there in twenty years, when the swimsuit is long gone.

Bali didn’t give us a factory. It gave us the idea.

Four things about this island are built into the product. Two of them decided what we made. Two decided how well we had to make it.

A day here has no edges.

Four things about this island are built into the product. Two of them decided what we made. Two decided how well we had to make it.

Here, a handmade object is expected to say something.

You swim at seven, eat at eleven, sit on a cliff at six and go to dinner at eight and at no point do you go home to change. There is usually nowhere to go home to.

Everywhere else an outfit gets one occasion. Here it gets four. The modular idea was not sketched in a studio; it was solved by a woman standing in a beach club at six in what she had swum in that morning.

What we hold ourselves to

Four promises. They are on this page so you can hold us to them.

01

Made in Bali, by hand

Every strap is assembled in our own studio. No subcontracting, no machine stringing, no exceptions.

02

Natural stones only

Semi-precious stone and real freshwater pearl. No dyed glass, no resin, no reconstituted stone.

03

One system, always

Every clasp point we have ever made is the same size. A strap bought today fits a piece bought in three years.

04

Repaired, not replaced

Send a strap back at any point in its life and we will re-string it. First repair is free, always.
